WHAT WE BELIEVE
GOD is a person who has revealed Himself as a Trinity in unity. Father, Son and Holy Spirit; three persons and yet but one God infinite and eternally existent. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 1Cor. 8:6; Gen 1:1; Isa. 45:21-22.)
JESUS CHRIST is God’s only begotten Son, Conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, sinless in His life, making atonement for the sin of the world by His death on the cross. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His personal, visible, bodily and pre-millennial return to the world according to His promise. (John 3:14-16; Matt. 1:18-25; 2 Cor. 5:21; Eph. 1:7; John 11:25; Matt. 28:5-6; Acts 1:9-11; Heb. 4:14-16: Rev. 19:11-16.)
THE HOLY SPIRIT came forth from God to convince the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and comfort those who believe in Jesus Christ. (John 16:8-11; John 14:26; Titus 3:5.)
THE BIBLE is God’s Word, and was written by men divinely and uniquely inspired, and is absolutely trustworthy and has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct (2 Tim. 3:16).
MAN was created in the image of God, but fell into sin; therefore, man is by nature and by choice sinful and lost. Holy Spirit regeneration is absolutely essential for salvation, and man is justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. (Gen. 1:26; Gen. 3:1-24; Rom. 3:23; Titus 3:5, Eph. 2:8,9; I John 1:7.)
SATAN is a person, and Hell is a place of eternal conscious punishment of all unsaved. (Job 1:6-7; Luke 16:23; Rev. 20:15.)
ETERNAL SECURITY is the precious possession of every believer. (John 10:28-29; Rom. 8:38-39.)
THE CHURCH is an elect company of believers baptized by the Holy Spirit into one body. It will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air before He appears to set up His Kingdom. THE LOCAL CHURCH is a body of immersed believers associated together for work, worship, and observance of the ordinances of the Lord’s Supper and Baptism, and fellowship. Its mission is to witness concerning its head, Jesus Christ, preaching the Gospel among all nations. It is autonomous, and is free from all ecclesiastical or political interferences. (Acts 2:41; Acts 15:13-17; Eph. 1:3-6; I Cor. 12:12-13; Matt. 28:19-20; Acts 1:6-8; I Thess. 4:13-18.)
THE RESURRECTION OF THE JUST AND THE UNJUST is a Biblical truth, the just for eternal blessedness and reward in heaven, the unjust for judgment and eternal punishment. (Dan. 12:2; John 5:28-29.)
